THE COUNTDOWN...
Let's walk together
The people of Letterkenny & Donegal are expected to turn out in their droves to take part in the ‘Climb Errigal Together’ walk which will take place on Saturday 2nd April 2022 in support of the fundraising initiative being headed up by former RTE journalist, Charlie Bird, who is walking up Croagh Patrick to raise funds for Irish Motor Neurone Disease and Pieta.
Local councillor, Ciaran Brogan has now launched ‘Climb Errigal Together’ so that the people of Donegal can walk side by side with Charlie in aid of two great causes, Pieta and Irish Motor Neurone Disease.
Ciaran has recently met with individuals, groups, clubs and agencies who are all willing to lend their support to make ‘Climb Errigal Together’ a memorable and enjoyable experience in a safe and controlled environment.
Donegal Motor Club will steward and manage the event along with Errigal Cycling Club and Donegal Civil Defence. Donegal International Rally Clerk of the Course, Eamonn McGee will be the main co-ordinator.
This event in April will give people a focus and something to look forward to. It is not a race or a competition, it’s about the fantastic people of Donegal coming together and getting behind two worthy charities
